Vice Chair and Co-Founder of I Have The Right To Alex Prout engaged CEO Martin Waters of Victoria’s Secret and hundreds of employees in a conversation about gender equity and allyship from men and boys during a company Town Hall. This address is part of the $90 million spend on strengthening the process to report and investigate sexual harassment cases and improve diversity and inclusion governance.
Victoria’s Secret associates heard directly from men on the importance of allyship and why men and boys should speak up and speak out as allies, and ways to tap into positive masculinity within the workplace. Joining Alex were two other leading global voices on engaging men and boys in advancing gender equality and positive masculinity: Jackson Katz, Ph.D, Founder and President of MVP Strategies, and Gary Barker, Ph.D., President and CEO of Promundo. Alex chairs and Jackson and Gary are members of The Vital Voices Solidarity Council. The Council brings together men who are allies in the fight to raise global awareness on behalf of women and girls around the world.
